Horn of Africa is uniquely well situated to serve the East African communities in San Diego with a staff that combines cultural and linguistic know-how with vast professional experience in social service delivery. Our staff is repeatedly invited to present on best practices at national conferences.
Our Experienced and Dedicated Staff
The staff at Horn of Africa also includes a team of experienced and dedicated outreach workers and case managers providing hands-on assistance to clients. All possess detailed knowledge of the local refugee community and experience in social service program delivery and speak fluent English and at least one East African language. An advisory panel of six senior volunteers works closely with the East African senior population.
